WAACY Olympics Camp
(Ages 5-14)

One of the favorite Rec Swim Team activities is WAAC Olympics day where there are a series of fun and zany activities where kids compete. We are taking this concept and have created a whole week of fun games which build basic sports skills of strength, flexibility, endurance, and balance. All of the activities will be geared to be age appropriate and the goal of the camp is to have each day be a blast!!

Sample activities include: t-shirt relay, goggle toss, wheel barrel relay, under water somersaults, categories on the dive board. Each day's curriculum will be well defined with counselors helping campers master the crazy "sports".

Camp is Monday-Friday 1-4 pm
Cost is $100 WAAC members/$130 non-memebrs

Looking for ALL Day Camp
WAAC offers Extended Hours 8:00 am - 5:30 pm which includes two half day camps with supervised activities around the camp times. Cost of all day for one week is $240 members and $300 for non-members.
Need just a few extra hours (weekly rates)?
Early Drop 8-9 am $20 members $40 non-members
Lunch Bunch noon-1pm $15 members $30 non-members
Late Stay 4-5:30 pm $30 members $60 non-members

General Information about Sports Camp
This year campers will be dropped off at the gray house. It is the second drive past WAAC's parking lot. It is gravel so if you don't want to drive down it, park in the spaces closest to Barton Creek Elementary School and take the foot path to the gray house. Campers should come dressed in comfortable clothes with swim suit underneath, including athletic shoes and socks. They should come with sun screen applied and bring sunscreen which we reapply at snack time. We have a water fountain, but they may wish to bring a water bottle. Other things they may wish to bring are caps, sun glasses, tennis racquet, and money to buy a snack card. We serve a snack every day, for example oranges and graham crackers, but campers are welcome to bring a snack from home. Snack cards are sold for $5 and campers may purchase snacks at the Camp Snack Bar. During rain the campers will move under tents for rainy day activities.
