Athletic Club News The last summer league rec meet is Friday June 20! Come cheer on the Flyers!! Coach Alex is now a Red Cross instructor for lifeguarding and CPR. She is teaching a series of classes this summer. June classes include: (1) Lifeguard and CPR Challenge for people who have need to re-certify. June 22 at 2 pm, (2) Guard Start: Lifeguarding Tomorrow designed for 11-14 year olds who want to learn basic CPR, first aid, and water safety ski lls.
This class is good for anyone who works with children and/or around water.
June 23-26 6:30-9 pm, (3) CPR/AED for the Professional Rescuer for
pre-teens, teens and adults. CPR is a great skill for everyone.

Coach Jeff Benson is leading the noon-1 pm Adult Swim Class. Coach Jeff is in Austin this summer between graduating and law school. He is ready to help adults with their strokes and other fitness or competitive goals. This class is FREE to members and non-members can participate by purchasing a 10 class punch card for $85. Tennis and Diving classes have both begun! Group classes are available as well as instruction during some of the sports camps. Tennis is part of Sports Camp and WAAC Sports Camp. Diving is part of Aquatics Camp and WAAC Sports Camp. Red Cross Classes are going to be offered by Coach Alex. June Classes include recertification in Lifeguarding and CPR, GuardStart, and CPR. Summer Camps Have Started!!
WAAC has a great summer camp schedule planned for kids age 4-14! Swim, Sports, and Just for Fun Camps keep kids and teens active and happy!! Camps run all summer (until Aug. 22). Each session is one week. Camps are half or full day. Camp Registration Form
