West Austin Athletic Club is the place to be. The swimming pools, tennis courts, and playground provide hours of fun for kids and adults to relax and beat the summer heat. Adults stay in shape by working out with the aerobic and weight equipment. The Club sponsors many programs for adults and children with a staff that is dedicated to providing a safe, friendly environment in which adults and children feel welcome.

Fall Youth Fitness Classes

West Austin Athletic Club recognizes the need for regular fitness for everyone.  WAAC’s fitness center provides aerobic equipment, free weights, exercise balls and other equipment that can make exercise interesting.  Join Coach Ginger this fall for youth fitness classes.  These small classes are designed to help pre-teens and teens set and achieve fitness goals.  The class will combine aerobic exercise with weight bearing exercises.  The class is designed to improve general fitness through improved flexibility, balance, coordination, strength and aerobic ability.  Every exercise in the class is appropriate for growing pre-teens and teens. This class is perfect for cross-training athletes, as an intro to fitness equipment, or for anyone who is looking for a group to help maintain regular exercise in a fun and positive environment.  Classes are limited to 8 and may be combined if there are less than 3 participants per class.

TTh 6:15-7:15 pm
Cost: $150 WAAC members/$175 non-members
